How They Work
Renovation panels have a sheet of EPS foam insulation pressure laminated to single sheet of OSB sheathing. Individual panels are fastened to the existing exterior surface (wall or roof) and the new cladding is applied over the the OSB
EPS insulation adds to the structures existing insulation and provides a new fasten surface for new cladding.
Example: installing a 2 inch renovation panel onto a existing 2” x 4” wall changes the wall’s R-value from R-13 to R-22.
